Everything to know before buying a rear bar: what it does, how the styles differ, and fitting
What are rear bars?
A rear bar is a steel bar that replaces the original rear bumper. It protects the tail from impacts and gives you mounting points for a towbar, recovery points, a trailer plug and a Hi-Lift Jack.

How to choose
1. Start with your model and year

2. Think about how you use it
For frequent towing or heavy use, pick all-round protection. For easy tray access, pick a style with a tread plate.
